Training & Capacity Building

To strengthen the programmes and projects in the areas, NRDF facilitates in workshops and training for its targets groups.  It is an ongoing activity that takes place as short trainings in the forest, coaching in the offices or as larger group programmes in classrooms and community halls. Besides Sustainable Forest management, Milling and Reforestation NRDF’s training programme also covers: Project monitoring and evaluation, small business planning, personal viability and on the spot coaching of project managers and coordinators

It is important to build capacity and skills to secure the sustainability of the projects that have been established. Many income generating activities need a business approach to gain benefits for the landowners and other people involved in the project activities.

Every year NRDF determines the needs of training and skills and drafts a specific training programme for the people in the areas and not to forget for its own staff members.
